structural steel, architectural metalwork, specialty fabrication, and custom gate systems.
With an 8,000-square-foot fabrication facility, experienced personnel, and in-house CAD
capabilities, we support projects from shop drawings and material procurement through
fabrication, finishing, and field installation.
Commercial Metalwork
Tacoma Iron Work specializes in the fabrication and installation of commercial handrails, guardrails, miscellaneous metals, structural steel components, and specialty architectural metalwork.
Our experience includes commercial buildings, schools, universities, municipal facilities, parks, and public infrastructure projects. We work with general contractors and project teams to deliver steel, stainless steel, and aluminum systems in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
Shop Fabrication
Our 8,000-square-foot fabrication facility supports custom steel, stainless steel, and
aluminum fabrication for projects of varying size and complexity.
Our shop capabilities include cutting, drilling, forming, MIG and TIG welding, assembly,
and finishing coordination, including hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, and painting.
We also fabricate architectural stainless steel components requiring specialized
finishes, including #4 brushed finishes and custom detailing.
